So we did some more hiking today. This is playing with some aperture again. The first cactus is in focus, with the subsequent cacti out of focus.
I really liked this handle, so I decided to shoot it at an up-close-and-personal angle. The door all the way at the end had a skull and crossbones on it. Not sure what that was for.
This little guy gave my friend a fright, so to make him feel better I snapped a photo of him.
I got this picture up in Ancient Thira. I liked how the bloom was just one lonely flower.
And old school Volkswagon. I just had to take a picture of it.
Okay, here is where more stuff for class comes in. Half of the stuff for this week requires car lights, or lights in general. I set the shutter speed for 5 seconds, since this was a slow street. The car lights blur, leaving a trail.
Here is another shot of trailing lights. There will be more later tonight once we get back from Fira. Fira has a lot more traffic than Kamari does, so there will hopefully be much more lights.
This is a hotel that we stumbled upon and the owner gladly let us take pictures. The owner was actually from Germany, so that was cool. We took a few shots and played around with shutter speeds in his garden along this walk. I like that this picture is very inviting.
