Day 2 Pictures

This is Beju (not sure if that is spelled right, but pronounced Bee-Zhu). He is our resident dog at our hotel. He is extremely friendly and loves to have some attention.

So this is when we were set out to practice with our aperture settings. I came across the tavern and had to take a picture of it since there is a Zorbas in the Detroit Lakes. As you can see I made the foreground out of focus with my camera. This picture is really lacking in the rule of thirds department.

Here are some local flowers. In this picture I made the foreground more in focus. I kind of let down the rule of thirds in this picture though.

This was a tree is some person's house lot. It wasn't really a yard since it was all paved. Again, foreground in focus. Follows the rule of thirds a little bit more. I also was trying to get some lines going on.

Here I got some more in focus plants over a stair railing. Playing with some aperture as well as some lines.

This vase pedestals were outside a house. Foreground is in focus and I left the rest out of focus.

This picture is at the same location as the previous, but here I chose to make the background in focus instead of the foreground.

Here is me playing with some lines, as well as aperture settings and working within the rule of thirds. To be honest, the palm tree kind of kills the picture for me.

Here is a random flower I found. It is cool that it blossoms in these three different colors. Again, just doing some aperture manipulation and working within the rule of thirds.
