This is flower outside the hotel where we are staying. I may be using it for class, but haven't decided just yet.
This is a picture of the coastline (not the coast where we live). At the bottom of the frame you can see the ledge of the switchback trail that are bus driver was navigating down.
Here is a picture (from a distance) of the volcanic island we went to. You can see the variations of color from time with the difference eruptions. The sand on our beach is also black, because it is from the volcanic rock.
This is from when we stopped at the old port of Thira. You can see how the buildings are just right on the edge of the cliff. I don't think I could ever live there.
Another picture from the old port of Thira. This structure is more built into the cliff face, so it looks like a part of the structure itself.
This is from when we got to the island. Just some rope that I thought looked cool.
Here is a picture from the island. You can see all the volcanic rock on the bottom of the frame. In the distance, on the other coastline, are houses (which look like snow from far away).
